World Read Aloud Day 2017

We had so much fun reading aloud to our class. We felt so proud of ourselves!

Room L Marble Treats

In Lovely Room L we work together to fill up our marble jar. We do this by putting a marble in the jar  for doing amazing work, working together well, showing all of the Care Code qualities, taking risks and being responsible for our own learning. Last week we had our first marble treat. A big thank you to Zoe and Kodah for taking the photos and producing these pic collage  pages on our i-pad

Room N and French Cricket

We learned how to play French Cricket last week.  It is a great game because it involves cooperation and everyone gets a turn.

Who's the tallest person in our class?

Today we used metre rulers and small rulers to measure the exact height of the 3 people who were taller than most of us. We all predicted first, then we measured.Robert recorded the data we collected.

iPads

One day a week the Middle Team classes get to use our team set of iPads. Today Room O learned to use the Doodle Buddy programme and the Spelling Bug programme.

Mighty Milk

We are very lucky to get milk each day at school. Milk is great for our health. Thank you to Fonterra for providing free milk to all Year 1-6 students in New Zealand. We all know how to fold up our milk cartons ready for recycling.
